MX 2002 – PS2 Game

MX 2002 is a motocross racing game built around dirt bike competition on tight indoor supercross circuits and wider outdoor tracks. Races are run against a field of AI riders, with holeshots, ruts and jump faces all playing into how you carry speed through a lap. Alongside straight racing there is freestyle riding, where you launch off ramps and dirt features and chain together tricks in the air for points, landing cleanly to keep the score. Bikes are controlled with a mix of throttle, braking and in-air rider positioning, so leaning the rider forward or back changes how a jump plays out and how you set up for the next corner. Progression comes through completing events and unlocking further tracks and riders on the PlayStation 2.
