Myst 3 Exile – PS2 Game

Myst III: Exile continues the Myst series as a first-person puzzle adventure. It opens with Atrus and his family, whose linking book is stolen by a stranger, sending you after him through a series of ages. Each age is a self-contained environment centred on machinery and observation: you study devices, note symbols and sequences, and work out how systems connect in order to open the way forward. Unlike the still-image presentation of the earlier games, this entry lets you stand at a node and look around freely in all directions, which matters because clues are often placed above or behind you. The antagonist, Saavedro, leaves behind recordings and personal traces that explain his grievance as you advance. There is no combat, and the ending depends on choices you make near the conclusion.
