Mystic Heroes – Gamecube Game

Mystic Heroes is an action game for the Nintendo GameCube in which you fight large crowds of enemies across open battlefield stages. You choose from a small cast of characters, each with their own weapon style and elemental magic, and clear areas by chaining melee combos together with special attacks that hit multiple foes at once. Defeating enemies and breaking objects drops orbs and items that build up your magic gauge and improve your abilities as you progress. Stages usually end with a boss fight against a larger, tougher opponent. The presentation draws on Chinese mythology and fantasy, with colourful character designs and effect-heavy spellcasting. A cooperative mode lets a second player join in on the same screen, and there are additional versus-style modes outside the main story.
