Nagano Winter Olympics ’98 – PS1 Game

Nagano Winter Olympics ’98 is a licensed winter sports game for the original PlayStation, tied to the Winter Olympic Games held in Nagano, Japan. You pick a nation and compete in a selection of individual winter events, including skiing, ski jumping, speed skating, and sliding events on ice tracks. Each discipline has its own control scheme: some rely on rapid button tapping to build speed, others on timing a jump or launch precisely, and downhill runs on steering cleanly through gates and corners. You can enter single events for a best time or score, or work through a longer competition chasing medals, with results tables and records tracked between attempts. Multiplayer lets several players take turns competing for the best result on the same event.
