Namco Museum Volume 3 – PS1 Game

Namco Museum Volume 3 for PlayStation is a further compilation of Namco arcade games. The disc includes Galaxian, Ms. Pac-Man, Pole Position II, Dig Dug, Phozon and The Tower of Druaga, covering fixed shooters, maze chases, racing and dungeon-crawling action. The games are accessed through the series’ virtual museum, which you move around in first person, entering rooms to start each title and to look over display material relating to it. Each game is presented in its arcade form, so play centres on limited lives, repeating rounds that increase in difficulty, and score rather than narrative progression, making for short sessions. The PlayStation pad handles the straightforward movement, steering and firing controls. It suits players wanting a spread of Namco arcade genres on one disc.
