NARC – Xbox Game

NARC on the original Xbox is a third-person action game about narcotics officers taking on drug trafficking operations. You play as a police officer working cases across a city, combining on-foot shooting and melee combat with driving sections and arrests. Missions involve tracking down dealers and suppliers, seizing contraband and confronting armed opposition. A defining mechanic lets you use the drugs you confiscate: taking them grants temporary abilities and altered perception effects, but carries consequences, so you choose between banking evidence and gaining a short-term edge. That tension between doing the job cleanly and cutting corners runs through the game, and your conduct affects how things play out. The tone is deliberately lurid, with adult subject matter, and the structure mixes story missions with free movement around the city streets.
