A licensed stock car racing game for the original Xbox, built around NASCAR’s real drivers, teams and oval and road circuits. As the subtitle suggests, the focus is on working with your teammates: you can issue orders to a team-mate’s car during a race, asking for drafting help or a block, and in some situations take direct control of that car before switching back. Race weekends run through practice, qualifying and the race itself, with adjustable setup options for tyres, suspension and gearing, plus assists and difficulty settings for players who prefer a lighter simulation. A career mode has you signing with teams and building a reputation over full seasons, and multiplayer races are supported on a single console.
