NASCAR 2000 – PS1 Game

A stock car racing game for the original PlayStation, licensed with real NASCAR drivers, cars and ovals. You take a car through qualifying and races, running door-to-door in large fields where drafting behind rivals builds speed for a pass. Modes cover single races, full championship or season play and multiplayer on a split screen. Difficulty and assist options adjust how much the car slides and whether damage and tyre wear are simulated, so races can be run as quick arcade events or longer contests with pit stops and strategy. Car setup screens allow changes before going out on track. Presentation uses television-style camera angles, in-race commentary and licensed team paint schemes on the cars.
