NBA 2K2 – Sega Dreamcast

NBA 2K2 is a Sega Dreamcast basketball game from the Sega Sports lineup. It builds its on-court action around highlight-style dunks, crossovers, jumpshots, steals, and a revamped low-post game.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Original online services for this game or platform have been discontinued; any offline or local modes still work normally.
• Basketball gameplay emphasizes both fast breaks and half-court control, with moves designed around NBA-style offensive and defensive play.
• The steal system lets defenders play passing lanes and create turnovers instead of relying only on basic on-ball pressure.
• Low-post controls include backing down a defender, exploding to the hoop, or taking a fadeaway jumper.
• Features urban playground courts including New York’s Rucker Park, The Cage, and Oakland’s Mosswood Park.

NBA 2K2 sits in the Dreamcast-era Sega Sports series developed by Visual Concepts, the same basketball line that continued under the broader NBA 2K name. The VMU save requirement is 155 blocks.
