NBA 2K6 – PS2 Game

NBA 2K6 is a licensed NBA basketball simulation for PlayStation 2, played five-on-five with real teams, players and arenas. Offence is built around calling plays, running the pick-and-roll, posting up and creating shots off the dribble, while defence involves picking assignments, contesting shots and controlling help rotations. Single games can be extended into a full season and playoffs, or into a long-running franchise where you handle trades, free agency, the draft and player development across multiple years. Player ratings and tendencies determine how each athlete performs, and sliders let you adjust the balance of the simulation. Presentation follows a broadcast style, with commentary, replays and score graphics. Local multiplayer supports head-to-head games and co-operative play on the same console.
