NBA 2K8 – PS2 Game

NBA 2K8 is a licensed basketball simulation for PlayStation 2, played five-on-five with NBA teams, players and arenas. Games are built around simulation-style pacing, with play calling, post moves, pick-and-roll offence, and defensive settings such as matchups and pressure. You can play one-off exhibitions, run a season through to the playoffs, or take a franchise through multiple years of drafting, trading, free agency and player development. Ratings and tendencies for each player determine how they behave, and sliders let you adjust shooting, fouls and other aspects of the simulation. A broadcast-style presentation includes commentary, replays and statistical overlays between plays. Local multiplayer supports head-to-head and co-operative games on one console, and game length and difficulty are configurable.
