NBA Jam Extreme – PS1 Game

NBA Jam Extreme moves the arcade basketball series onto PlayStation with polygonal 3D players and a camera that follows the action rather than the flat side-on view of the earlier games. You play short matches with small teams drawn from licensed NBA rosters, and the usual rules are relaxed: no fouls or free throws, huge leaping dunks, and a hot streak system that boosts a player’s shooting after consecutive makes. Turbo fuels sprints, shoves and bigger jams. Marv Albert provides play-by-play commentary over the games. Beyond standard exhibition play the game includes an Extreme option that alters the rules of a match, plus hidden characters and code entries at the matchup screen. Two players can share the game locally, teaming up or facing each other.
