NBA Jam – PlayStation 2

NBA Jam is an arcade-style basketball game for PlayStation 2 from Acclaim Entertainment. This version brings the series’ over-the-top 3-on-3 action together with monster dunks, HotSpot scoring, On-Fire runs, and Big Head Mode.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Fast-paced NBA basketball focuses on exaggerated jams, high-energy offense, and arcade sports pacing instead of simulation-style play.
• Features 50 NBA Legends along with unlockable characters for expanded roster variety.
• Courts include classic NBA arenas plus outdoor locations such as NYC’s Rucker Park and LA’s Venice Beach.
• Tim Kitzrow returns as the original NBA Jam voice, with additional commentary and funk-inspired tracks from Bootsy Collins.
• Supports expanded local play with a PlayStation 2 Multitap for up to 6-player 3-on-3 games.

The game connects directly to the NBA Jam arcade legacy through Kitzrow’s commentary and signature calls like “Boomshakalaka.” Its PlayStation 2 entry adds named street courts and a larger local multiplayer setup around the series’ dunk-heavy formula.
