NBA Jam – PS2 Game

NBA Jam on PlayStation 2 brings the arcade basketball series to Sony’s console with licensed NBA teams and players. Matches are played on a single scrolling court with small squads rather than full five-man lineups, and the rules are stripped back: no fouls, no free throws, and dunks that send players well above the rim. Sinking shots in a row sets a player on fire, boosting accuracy and letting you keep firing from long range until the streak breaks. Games are short, with the emphasis on steals, blocks, alley-oops and comeback scoring runs rather than play-calling or defensive schemes. Multiplayer is central, with players able to team up or square off on one screen. Controls stay simple, using a shoot button, a pass button and turbo.
