NBA Live 2002 – PS1 Game

A PlayStation release in EA Sports’ NBA Live series, played as five-on-five basketball with licensed NBA teams and players. Matches use a broadcast-style camera with commentary, crowd noise and on-screen score and clock overlays. Offensive controls cover passing, post play, dribble moves, layups, dunks and jump shots, while on defence you switch defenders, contest shots and go for steals and blocks. Alongside single exhibition games you can play a season through the playoffs, adjust rosters through trades, and create custom players. Statistics build up over the course of a season. Difficulty levels, quarter lengths and rule settings are adjustable, and a second controller allows two people to play head-to-head or together on one team.
