NBA Live 2004 – Gamecube Game

NBA Live 2004 is EA Sports’ licensed basketball simulation, with NBA teams, players and arenas. Freestyle Control returns on the analog stick, letting you chain dribble moves, hesitations and post moves to create shots. The game adds a Dynasty mode, in which you take control of a franchise across multiple seasons, handling the draft, trades, player development and roster decisions between games. Standard exhibition, season and playoff options are also included, along with roster editing and local multiplayer for head-to-head or co-op play. Player ratings determine shooting, defense, rebounding and athleticism, and NBA rules such as fouls, free throws and the shot clock are simulated. Broadcast-style presentation includes commentary, crowd audio and a licensed soundtrack. This is the GameCube release, using the Nintendo controller layout.
