NBA Live 2006 – PS2 Game

NBA Live 2006 is an entry in EA Sports’ licensed basketball series for PlayStation 2, played five-on-five with NBA teams, players and arenas. Freestyle Control remains the basis of offense, with dribble moves, crossovers and post play handled on the analog stick, and defensive controls for contesting shots, stealing and blocking. Dynasty mode covers multi-season franchise play, including the draft, trades and player development, while exhibition, season and playoff modes are available for individual games and shorter runs. Player ratings determine shooting range, defense, rebounding and athleticism, and NBA rules such as fouls, free throws and the shot clock are simulated. Presentation follows a television broadcast style with commentary, crowd audio and a licensed soundtrack. Local multiplayer supports head-to-head and co-operative games.
