NBA ShootOut 2001 – PS1 Game

NBA ShootOut 2001 is a licensed NBA basketball game for the original PlayStation. Matches are played five-on-five, with you controlling one player at a time on offense and defense while the AI handles teammates. You can call plays, post up, shoot from the perimeter, drive for layups and dunks, and crash the boards for rebounds. Beyond single exhibition games, the game includes longer play across a season schedule and into the playoffs, tracking statistics for players and teams along the way. Lineups and substitutions are handled through menus, and options such as quarter length and difficulty let you shift matches toward a faster or more deliberate style. Presentation includes 3D players on court, adjustable camera angles, commentary and on-screen score and clock. Two players can play head-to-head.
