NBA ShootOut 2001 – PS2 Game

NBA ShootOut 2001 on PlayStation 2 is a licensed NBA basketball game built around full five-on-five matches with real teams and players. You direct one player at a time, calling plays, working the ball around the perimeter, driving inside and defending shots and passing lanes while the AI controls your teammates. Single exhibition games are joined by longer play through a season schedule and the playoffs, with player and team statistics tracked as the year progresses. Rosters, lineups and substitutions are handled from menus, and settings such as difficulty and quarter length adjust the pace and scoring of a game. The PS2 version renders players and arenas in 3D with selectable camera angles, commentary and broadcast-style score overlays. Head-to-head play is supported on one console.
