NBA Street is EA Sports BIG’s take on streetball, putting NBA players in three-on-three matches on outdoor courts with a trick-heavy control scheme. There are no fouls or stoppages, so possession swings back and forth quickly as you chain crossovers, fakes, alley-oops and off-the-backboard passes. Successful tricks fill a Gamebreaker meter that unleashes a scripted dunk sequence, scoring for you and docking the opposition. Matches run to a points total instead of a game clock. The single-player mode sends you from court to court against local teams, letting you create and upgrade a player with earned attribute points and unlock new characters and clothing along the way. Two-player head-to-head games are supported, and the arcade pacing keeps the emphasis on style over simulation.
