NBA Street Showdown – PSP Game

NBA Street Showdown is the PSP entry in EA’s streetball series, keeping the three-on-three, no-fouls format on outdoor courts with NBA players. You build possessions out of dribble tricks, fakes and off-the-wall or off-the-backboard passes, filling a Gamebreaker meter that you spend on a high-scoring dunk or shot that also takes points off the opposition. Games run to a points target rather than a clock, so momentum swings quickly. A single-player campaign takes you between courts against local teams, with earned points going into a created player’s attributes and unlockable gear and characters. Controls are mapped to the handheld’s buttons and shoulder triggers, and the arcade presentation keeps the pace fast and the emphasis on showmanship rather than realistic basketball tactics.
