NFL GameDay 2000 – PS1 Game

NFL GameDay 2000 is an entry in the NFL GameDay series of simulation football games for the original PlayStation. It uses licensed NFL teams, stadiums and players, with play-calling from full offensive and defensive playbooks, audibles and pre-snap adjustments before each down. Along with single exhibition games you can play through a season toward the playoffs and manage a roster over multiple years, including trades and drafting. Presentation follows a television broadcast style, with commentary, replays and on-screen statistics. Two players can compete on one console, and options for difficulty, quarter length and penalties let you set how strict each game feels. It plays from a fixed camera behind the offense, with running, passing and tackling mapped to the PlayStation controller’s face buttons.
