NFL GameDay 2001 – PS1 Game

NFL GameDay 2001 continues the NFL GameDay series of licensed football games on the original PlayStation. Real NFL teams, players and stadiums are included, and games are played as a simulation: you choose from full offensive and defensive playbooks, set audibles, and then control one player directly during each down. Modes cover single exhibition games, a full season with playoffs, and longer play where you manage rosters, trades and drafting across multiple years. Broadcast-style presentation supplies commentary, replays and statistics between plays. Two players can compete on one console, and settings for difficulty, quarter length and penalty enforcement adjust how demanding a match becomes. A late-generation PlayStation football release for anyone building out that console’s sports library.
