NFL GameDay 2004 – PS1 Game

NFL GameDay 2004 is an officially licensed American football game for the original PlayStation, part of Sony’s long-running GameDay series. You pick from NFL teams and rosters and play full games from a behind-the-offense camera, calling plays from a playbook of runs, passes and defensive formations before taking direct control of the action. Passing, rushing, kicking and defensive play are all handled on the field, with the usual football rules, penalties and clock management in place. Alongside single exhibition games you can work through a season, chase the playoffs, and manage your roster between contests. Two players can compete head-to-head on one console. As a late release on the hardware, it presents the sport with the PlayStation’s polygonal players and stadiums rather than the more detailed visuals of the following generation.
