NFL Quarterback Club 97 – PS1 Game

NFL Quarterback Club 97 is an officially licensed American football game for the original PlayStation. You choose NFL teams and players, select plays from offensive and defensive playbooks, and then take direct control on the field for passing, rushing, tackling, kicking and punting. Downs, penalties, timeouts and the game clock all apply, so drives play out with the usual decisions about when to run, throw or send out the kicking unit. Available play includes exhibition games, season progression toward the playoffs, and two-player matches on one console. The game presents the action in 3D with polygonal players and stadiums, broadcast-style presentation and replays between plays. Adjustable settings such as difficulty and quarter length change how long and how demanding a full game becomes, while statistics track team and player performance.
