NHL 08 – PS2 Game

NHL 08 for PlayStation 2 continues EA Sports’ annual hockey series with licensed NHL teams, players and arenas. Play is five-on-five ice hockey: you skate, pass, deke, check and shoot with the controller, switching control between teammates as possession changes. Penalties are called, goalies are simulated, and adjustable difficulty and gameplay settings let you tune matches toward faster arcade action or a more measured simulation pace. You can play single exhibition games or follow a club across a season and into the playoffs, managing the roster as you go. Local multiplayer supports playing with or against others on the same console. Broadcast-style presentation carries the action, with replays, commentary, crowd audio and scoreboard overlays between whistles.
