NHL 2K – Sega Dreamcast Game

NHL 2K is a licensed hockey game released under the Sega Sports label for the Dreamcast. It uses real NHL teams and players, and matches are played over standard periods with control of passing, dekes, checking, shooting and the goaltender when the puck comes in close. Difficulty and rules options such as penalty calling and period length can be adjusted to change how strict and how fast the game plays. Alongside single exhibition matches you can play season and playoff hockey, following standings and statistics as the schedule progresses, and manage rosters and lines. The presentation is built around broadcast-style camera work, commentary and arena crowd audio. Two players can compete head-to-head locally using the Dreamcast’s controller ports.
