NHL 2K6 – PS2 Game

NHL 2K6 continues the NHL 2K hockey series on PlayStation 2, using licensed NHL teams, players and arenas. Games are played as full five-on-five hockey from a television-style camera, with commentary, crowd noise and on-screen presentation between whistles. You control skating, passing, shooting, checking and faceoffs, with settings for period length, penalties, line changes and difficulty. Alongside single games, the package includes season and playoff modes plus longer-term team management, letting you adjust lineups and rosters as you work through a schedule. Local multiplayer supports head-to-head matches or cooperative play on the same team. The PlayStation 2 release keeps the series’ simulation focus, rewarding positional play and defensive coverage as much as offensive rushes.
