NHL FaceOff 2000 – PS1 Game

NHL FaceOff 2000 is part of Sony’s PlayStation hockey series, licensed by the NHL and NHLPA so real teams and named players take the ice. Matches are five-on-five with adjustable rules covering penalties, offsides and icing, plus settings for period length and difficulty. You can play a single exhibition game, run a season, or head into the playoffs, and multiplayer is supported for head-to-head games. Checking, fighting and power plays are part of the on-ice action, while menus handle line changes, trades, player ratings and statistics. The rink is rendered in 3D with selectable camera angles, and commentary and arena audio play over the action. Controls cover passing, shooting, dekes and one-timers for players who want to build up scoring chances rather than just rush the net.
