NHL FaceOff 2001 – PS1 Game

NHL FaceOff 2001 is a licensed hockey simulation for the original PlayStation, part of Sony’s long-running FaceOff series. You play full five-on-five hockey with NHL teams and players, choosing between quick exhibition matches, a season with playoffs, and shootout-style modes. Play sits between arcade and simulation: checking, fighting for loose pucks along the boards, and one-timers off passes are all straightforward to pull off, while penalties, line changes, and goalie control add depth if you want it. Difficulty sliders and period length let you tune how long and how demanding a game feels. Team and roster management options let you adjust lineups before dropping the puck. Two players can compete head-to-head on a single console with a multitap-compatible setup for larger groups.
