Nintendo 64 Official Controller

The official Nintendo 64 controller uses a three-pronged design, letting you hold it by the left and right grips for D-pad play or by the center and right grips to reach the analog stick. Inputs include the analog stick, a D-pad, A and B buttons, four yellow C buttons, Start, L and R shoulder buttons, and a Z trigger on the underside of the center grip. A port on the back accepts accessories such as the Rumble Pak for force feedback and the Controller Pak memory card for saving game data in titles that support it. The controller connects directly to one of the console’s four ports, which allow four-player games without additional hardware. It was produced in a range of colors over the system’s life.
