Obscure

Obscure: The Aftermath on PlayStation Portable is the handheld version of the survival horror sequel set on a college campus. A mutagenic plant spreads among the students, and you guide a group of survivors through infested dorms, grounds and underground areas. You switch between party members and travel in pairs, with each character offering a distinct ability used for solving obstacles and supporting combat. Light plays a key role, as many creatures shrink from it, so flashlights and other light sources are used alongside melee weapons and guns. Characters can die permanently, changing the roster you have available as the story continues. The PSP release brings this structure to a portable format, with exploration, item management and combat across a series of chapters.
