One Piece Grand Battle – Gamecube Game

One Piece Grand Battle is a fighting game based on the One Piece series, built around fast arena matches rather than traditional fighting-game footsies. You pick from a cast of characters taken from the manga and anime, each with their own attacks and special techniques, and fight in stages that include items to pick up and use. Movement is simple to learn, with attacks, throws and powerful super moves tied to a meter, so newcomers can jump in while still leaving room to learn character-specific tactics. Modes include versus play against a friend or the computer, and single-player content that has you working through a series of opponents. Presentation follows the anime closely, with cel-shaded character models and voice clips. On GameCube, multiple players can compete on the same console.
