Online Chess Kingdoms – PSP Game

Online Chess Kingdoms is a chess game for the PlayStation Portable that presents matches with fantasy-themed armies in place of traditional pieces. Standard chess rules apply, but the sets are drawn from different factions with their own visual designs, and moves can be shown with animated sequences rather than simple piece movement. A plain top-down board view is also available if you prefer to read positions quickly. You can play against the system at varying difficulty levels, take on a series of scenario-based challenges, or face other players. The handheld’s wireless features support head-to-head play, and the game’s title reflects its network multiplayer focus. Presentation aside, the core is conventional chess, so the appeal depends on wanting a portable board with a fantasy skin.
