• Tactical FPS gameplay emphasizes squad movement, positioning, and coordinated fire instead of arcade-style run-and-gun action.
• The story takes place in 2013 between Afghanistan and China, giving the missions a specific Central Asian conflict setting.
• Co-op support lets a fireteam work through missions together, with System Link support for connected Xbox 360 consoles.
• Players take the role of Semper Fi Marines, where battlefield decisions and fireteam tactics drive the mission flow.

Red River follows Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and continues the series’ focus on realistic military shooter pacing. Its Tajikistan campaign gives this Xbox 360 entry a distinct setting within the Operation Flashpoint lineup.
