Otogi Myth of Demons – Xbox Game

Otogi: Myth of Demons is a third-person action game for the Xbox set in a world drawn from Japanese mythology. You play as Raikoh, a swordsman sent to fight the demons and spirits overrunning the land. Combat mixes sword combos with magic spells and aerial attacks, and your magic reserve doubles as a timer of sorts, draining as you use abilities. The environments are unusually destructible for the era, with trees, buildings and stone structures shattering as fights spill through them. The game is structured as a series of self-contained missions chosen from a map, with money earned in the field spent on new weapons, spells and upgrades between outings. Levels are atmospheric and often sparse, emphasizing mood and momentum over exploration.
