PDC World Championship Darts 2008 – PS2 Game

PDC World Championship Darts 2008 is a darts simulation for PlayStation 2 built around the Professional Darts Corporation licence, so you play as and against real professional players of the era. Throwing is handled with an aiming reticle and a power or timing input, asking you to line up trebles, doubles and the bullseye under pressure. Matches follow standard darts rules, counting down from a set score and requiring a double to check out, with legs and sets deciding the winner. Alongside quick exhibition matches there are tournament structures to work through, plus multiplayer for playing against someone on the same console. Presentation follows televised darts, with an oche-eye view, commentary and crowd atmosphere around each throw.
