Pebble Beach Golf Links – Sega Saturn Game

Pebble Beach Golf Links is a golf game for the Sega Saturn built around the famous Californian course of the same name, recreating its coastal holes for round-by-round play. You work through holes selecting clubs, judging distance and accounting for wind and lie before setting your swing with a timed meter. Shot shaping, putting on read greens and recovering from rough and bunkers make up the bulk of play, with an overhead hole map to help plan each approach. Rounds can be played as casual outings or under tournament scoring, and multiple players can take turns on the same console. The pace is deliberate rather than arcade-styled, aimed at players who want to plot their way around a real layout hole by hole.
