Peter Jackson’s King Kong – PSP Game

A movie tie-in based on Peter Jackson’s King Kong film, this action game splits its time between two very different perspectives. As a human survivor on Skull Island, you play in first person, moving through jungle, swamp and ruins with limited weapons and ammunition, using spears, fire and cooperation with your companions to get past hostile wildlife. As Kong, the view shifts to third person and the emphasis moves to raw strength: climbing, leaping between ledges and grappling with dinosaurs and other predators. The presentation leans on a stripped-back interface, with health and status conveyed through on-screen cues and dialogue rather than a heavy heads-up display. Levels follow the broad arc of the film’s story, from the expedition’s arrival on the island onward. On PlayStation Portable the game is played in single-player.
