Phantom Dust – Xbox Game

Phantom Dust is an action game for the original Xbox built around collecting and using skill cards. Set in a world where the surface has been left ruined and memories have been lost, you take on missions from an underground settlement and fight in real-time arena battles. Before each fight you assemble an arsenal from your card collection, and during combat you pick up capsules on the battlefield to draw those skills, then use attacks, defences, environmental effects and status abilities against opponents. Skills are grouped into schools with different strengths, so building an arsenal means committing to a play style. A story campaign with cutscenes runs alongside standalone battles, and multiplayer supports matches against other players. Movement includes dashing and levitation, making positioning central to fights.
