Pitfall The Lost Expedition – PS2 Game

Pitfall: The Lost Expedition brings Activision’s jungle explorer Pitfall Harry into a 3D action-platforming adventure. You guide Harry through rainforest terrain made up of cliffs, caves, rivers and ruins, swinging on vines, climbing ledges, balancing along beams and avoiding hazards like pits, water and hostile wildlife. Harry’s whip doubles as a tool and a weapon, letting you latch onto swing points and deal with animals and enemies you meet along the way. Progress mixes traversal challenges with light combat and collecting, and the game nods back to the original Atari-era Pitfall games in its themes of scorpions, crocodiles and vine-covered chasms. The PlayStation 2 version plays from a third-person camera with an emphasis on exploring each area to find a route forward.
