Play Action Football – Gameboy Game

Play Action Football is an American football game for the original Game Boy, presented in the handheld’s monochrome graphics. You call plays from a playbook on offence and defence, then take direct control on the field, passing, running the ball and tackling as the clock runs down. The action is viewed from a scrolling perspective that follows the ball, with receiver targeting and simple audible-style options before the snap. Teams are generic rather than licensed, identified by city, and you can play exhibition matches or work through a season-style series of games toward a championship. A link cable option allows head-to-head play against another Game Boy owner. Controls are built around the two-button layout, keeping play calling and on-field movement straightforward.
