Play With the Teletubbies brings the preschool television series to PlayStation as a collection of simple interactive activities rather than a conventional game. You spend time with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po around Home Hill, moving between short sequences and screens drawn from the look and sound of the show, with narration and music familiar to viewers. Controls are kept minimal, using basic button presses and directions so that very young players can take part with adult help, and there are no fail states or scores to worry about. Pacing is deliberately slow and repetitive, echoing the structure of the programme itself. It is aimed squarely at the youngest audience on the console and works best as a shared activity between a child and a parent.
