Pokken Tournament – Wii U Game

Pokken Tournament is a one-on-one fighting game for Wii U featuring Pokemon as the combatants. Matches alternate between two viewpoints: a Field Phase, where you move freely around an arena at a distance and use ranged and homing attacks, and a Duel Phase, which shifts to a closer, plane-based view for melee exchanges, throws and blocks. Landing certain attacks triggers the switch between phases. Each fighter has its own moveset and a powerful Synergy Burst state that can be activated once charged. You also choose a pair of support Pokemon that can be called in for temporary assistance during a round. Modes include single-player ladders against computer opponents, local versus and online play, with unlockable customization for your player avatar.
