Q*bert – PS1 Game

Q*bert on the PlayStation is a console version of the arcade cube-hopping game. You move Q*bert diagonally across a pyramid of cubes, changing the colour of each one you land on, and finish a stage once every cube has been converted. Enemies patrol and pursue you across the structure, including the snake Coily, and touching them or falling off the edge costs a life. Flying discs positioned at the sides of the pyramid carry you back to the top and can be used to shake off pursuers. The PlayStation release presents the action with updated visuals over the original arcade look while keeping the diagonal movement and single-screen stage structure that define the game.
