Qix – Game Boy

Qix is a Game Boy puzzle game built around enclosing territory while avoiding moving hazards. Its arcade-style design focuses on quick line drawing, risk control, and gradually claiming the playfield.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Puzzle gameplay centers on drawing borders to capture sections of the screen and increase the cleared area.
• The Qix hazard moves unpredictably, creating pressure to finish each enclosure before contact.
• Smaller, safer shapes reduce risk, while larger captures can clear more of the board in a single move.
• The compact Game Boy format gives the original abstract action-puzzle concept a portable handheld version.

Qix uses a minimalist visual style built around lines, zones, and movement patterns rather than characters or story. Each stage is driven by timing and spatial planning on a single playfield.
