Quake III Revolution – PS2 Game

Quake III Revolution is the PlayStation 2 take on id Software’s arena shooter, reworked for a controller and for play away from a PC. Alongside straightforward deathmatch, it structures much of the single-player content as a progression through a series of arenas and objectives against computer-controlled opponents, unlocking further stages as you win. The core remains fast movement through compact multi-level maps, collecting armour and power-ups and fighting with the series’ familiar arsenal, including the shotgun, rocket launcher and railgun. Weapon pickups respawn, so control of key items shapes each match. Multiplayer is handled locally via split-screen for players sharing a single console. Controls are built around analogue-stick aiming rather than mouse input.
