Rampage – NES

Rampage is an NES arcade action game based on the Bally Midway monster-smashing arcade hit. The game centers on city-to-city destruction as George the Ape or Lizzie the Lizard wreck buildings, battle hazards, and cause chaos from coast to coast.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Arcade-style gameplay focuses on climbing skyscrapers, smashing structures, and surviving waves of urban defenses.
• Playable monsters include George the Ape and Lizzie the Lizard, each tearing through cities in giant creature fashion.
• Hazards include gunfire, dynamite, poisonous food, rivers, and attacks from rival monsters.
• City targets include Los Angeles and New York, with stages built around destroying buildings before moving on.
• Two-player play lets monsters rampage together while still being able to knock each other around.

The home version brings the creature-feature destruction loop of the arcade game to Data East’s NES release. Its core hook is simple and specific: knock down the city before the city knocks the monsters out.
