Ratchet & Clank – PS2 Game

Ratchet & Clank is a third-person action platformer for the PlayStation 2. You play as Ratchet, a mechanic from a backwater planet, who teams up with a small robot named Clank after Clank escapes a factory producing an army of warbots. Together they travel between planets, each a self-contained area with platforming, enemies, and objectives that often open new paths once you acquire the right tool. The core of the game is its arsenal: alongside the melee OmniWrench you buy and collect a wide variety of weapons and gadgets, paying for them with bolts gathered from defeated enemies and broken crates. Gadgets also serve as traversal tools, letting you grind rails, glide, swim, and reach places that were blocked earlier. Clank rides on Ratchet’s back and features in his own sections.
