Rayman Rush – PS1 Game

Rayman Rush is a racing game for PlayStation 1 in which characters from the Rayman series compete on foot rather than in vehicles. Courses are built from platforming terrain, so races involve jumping across gaps, swinging, climbing and dodging hazards as well as finding faster routes. Visuals and settings draw on the look of Rayman 2, and the roster includes Rayman alongside other familiar faces from the series. Power-ups and boosts scattered around the tracks help you gain ground, and finishing well unlocks further content. Modes cover single races and time-based challenges, with a split-screen option so a second player can join in. The result blends the running-and-jumping feel of the Rayman platformers with the structure of a lap-based racer.
